The park, covering 76 acres, offers hiking trails, cozy natural dens and natural caves. The park is also a favorite of rock climbers with its rock formations. East of Topanga Canyon Boulevard there is a rock outcropping that is considered one of the best photo opportunities in the Los Angeles area. The park also has bridle paths for horse riding. Stoney Point Park is open from sunrise to sunset daily and is considered a historic site.
